Our Values
As a church, we aim to be a diverse, gospel-centered community that treasures Christ together and plants more healthy churches for the glory of God.
Our core values paint a clearer picture of what we prioritize — what we spend our time, energy, and prayers on. To that end, we define our priorities through four core values: gospel centrality, biblical diversity, missional simplicity, and intentional multiplication.
-
The gospel – the good news of Jesus Christ – is front and center of all we do at Ethnos. Grace being foundational, we long to see lives transformed as people, empowered by the Holy Spirit, work out all it means to align themselves under the lordship of King Jesus.
-
We long to see the nations represented in our community treasuring Christ together. We believe this puts on display the power of God to bring people of differing racial, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds together under the banner of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
-
Ethnos is committed to developing a culture of evangelism where every member lives with missional intentionality. To that end, we strive to maintain simplicity in the way we "do church" so that members have margin to meaningfully engage those in their lives who are far from God.
-
We long to see multiplication happen at every level of our church. This will take place as we stay committed to intentionally multiplying disciples, starting new Missional Communities, and planting more healthy churches.
