Born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, Ben immigrated to the United States at the age of 21. His parents are church planters who felt called by the Lord to immigrate to Houston and begin a work that would minister to a Kenyan community in the southwest part of Houston.

Prior to joining Ethnos, Ben served as the assistant pastor of worship and administration at Grace Life Baptist Church. He desires to see people from different nations, but living in Houston, who are far from God come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He also desires to see the “dechurched” find their way back to a gospel-preaching church.

Ben has an undergraduate degree in Piano from Texas Southern University and a master’s degree in Christian Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.

He enjoys leading Bible studies, discipling one-on-one, preaching, playing piano, and spending time with his family.

Ben is married to Anita and they have two boys: Ethan and Zachary.
